615 Hours of Pro Bono & Public Interest Work in 2014

The numbers are in—during 2014, Carter & Carter provided over 615 hours of legal and paralegal services on pro bono and public interest matters.  That’s several hours per week per employee!  The attorneys and support staff at Carter & Carter contributed their time and effort to about a dozen community organizations, especially:

  • The Parks Conservancy of New Hanover County
  • The Historic Wilmington Foundation
  • The YWCA
  • The Cape Fear Council of the Boy Scouts of America
  • Coastal Women Attorneys
  • The Bankruptcy Section of the N.C. Bar Association
  • N.C. Legal Aid
  • Lawyers for Literacy
