615 Hours of Pro Bono & Public Interest Work in 2014

The numbers are in—during 2014, Carter & Carter provided over 615 hours of legal and paralegal services on pro bono and public interest matters.  That’s several hours per week per employee!  The attorneys and support staff at Carter & Carter contributed their time and effort to about a dozen community organizations, especially:

  • The Parks Conservancy of New Hanover County
  • The Historic Wilmington Foundation
  • The YWCA
  • The Cape Fear Council of the Boy Scouts of America
  • Coastal Women Attorneys
  • The Bankruptcy Section of the N.C. Bar Association
  • N.C. Legal Aid
  • Lawyers for Literacy

The attorneys at Carter & Carter also helped approximately one dozen clients with legal problems on a pro bono basis.  At Carter & Carter, we believe in working hard for our clients, and we also believe in working hard to make Wilmington and Southeastern NC a better place.  We’re proud of our efforts to help our clients advance their interests.  We’re also glad to have skills and experience that are helpful to so many local nonprofits and to the broader community.  To learn more about us and the organizations we support, visit www.carterandcarterlaw.com/helpful-links
